It's a podcast watchfest as we link to catchup videos
from Nextradio, OzPod, Radio Days Europe and International Podcast
Day. Also Google, Facebook and Instagram all doing interesting
things with audio.

- In a
week's time, the BBC will be launching a new podcast called Multi
Story. It offers a collection of
personal stories following a different theme each week handpicked
from audio that has previously aired on Local Radio stations. Go
- Google is launching a "Google Podcasts" Creator
program. Applications are welcomed till mid
November and the first round kicks off in January 2019. It'll
partner with US non-profit Public Radio Exchange - PRX - , which
alongside a global advisory committee, will select teams to receive
mentorship, seed funding, and an intensive 20-week training course.

- Spotify had released a Podcast Creators
portal. The big change for
self-hosted podcasters - which there are still a LOT of - is
that they can now ALSO get their podcasts onto Spotify. They’re NOT
hosting the audio files themselves, just enabling syndication for
the shows. The new portal is at https://podcasters.spotify.com/
Moviepro is an
app for iOS which allows you to select Bluetooth earphones as the
